Site & Subdivision Plan Review

Site and subdivision plans are detailed engineered drawings prepared by a qualified licensed professional showing the proposed improvements required in the development of a given parcel, and demonstrating compliance with County State and other laws. A site plan is required for non-residential projects or residential projects that do not require the creation of lots, such as multifamily apartment or condominium developments. A subdivision plan creates lots. Subdivision plans generally cover residential projects such as single-family or townhouse development, where lots are created. The Subdivision Ordinance provides the rules and regulations about how property may be subdivided and the Design and Construction Standards Manual identifies standards and specifications with which development must comply.
