Prince William County is a safe place to live and work. We offer several programs including Neighborhood Watch, Business Watch, Worship Watch, and Fleet Watch.
The Neighborhood Watch program is designed to reduce crime and enhance the quality of life in your neighborhood. Neighbors commit to keeping their eyes and ears open as they go about their daily business, or they can organize patrols to monitor their neighborhoods. Have a question? Complete this Neighborhood Watch Inquiry form.
Do you live in an apartment complex? The Neighborhood Watch program can also be implemented in your apartment complex. Typically, the management office coordinates the program.
The Business Watch program -- which includes Fleet Watch and the Certified Crime Prevention Business Program -- teaches Prince William County business owners, managers and employees how to combat crime as well as educate them on personal safety and workplace violence issues. Complete this Business Emergency Contact letter form to register with the Police. Need to add more information than the form allows? Complete the Business Emergency Contact - additional names form.
The Fleet Watch program involves businesses and other organizations that have large fleets of vehicles equipped with some form of communication such as cell phones or radios. Police notify these businesses to have their drivers be alert if there is trouble.
