Prince William County invites residents and visitors to the Juneteenth & Me Festival on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 4 - 9 p.m. at the Pfitzner Stadium, 7 County Complex Court in Woodbridge. Attendees will experience an unforgettable evening of performances, education and empowerment, celebrating Black culture, history and community connection.
“This festival is about more than celebration, it’s about connection,” said Maria Burgos, Prince William County’s Equity and Inclusion Officer. “Juneteenth gives us the opportunity to reflect, to honor Black history, and to elevate the many voices, traditions, and experiences that shape Prince William County.”
The event will open with a grand procession led by an African dance troupe and high school drummers, followed by inspirational speakers, live musical performances by local talent and sets by local DJs. Featured performers include Chocolate Factory and The Chuck Brown Band, and the evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks finale.

More than 40 vendors and community partners will be on-site, offering a variety of resources, services and interactive experiences. The festival is free and open to the public. Those interested in getting involved can sign up to participate as a volunteer, vendor or sponsor.
