Prince William County has three outdoor community pools, plus Veterans Park Pool which is an outdoor community pool with a twisting waterslide. Please check individual sites for scheduled events.
Swimwear Guidelines - Please Read
Proper swim attire is required in all pools. The intent of enforcing a swim attire policy is to maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment for our patrons. Clothing, other than swimwear, can create problems with water clarity, disinfectant systems, and filtration. Prince William County Parks & Recreation staff have the right to deny anyone use of pools for non-approved swimwear.
Birchdale Pool
Birchdale is a great neighborhood pool located in Dale City featuring a full-service concessions area, a diving board, and a gated baby pool for our small swimmers. A local family favorite!

Graham Park Pool
Graham Park is a charming outdoor pool featuring zero depth entry, water spray and dumping water bucket features. Perfect for a quiet summer day at the pool.

Hammill Mill Pool
Fun water features and various small water slides can keep little ones entertained for hours, while parents can appreciate the sun, or the shade, in any of our numerous lounge chairs.

Veterans Park Pool & Waterslide
Veterans Pool is a great option for anyone wanting the taste of a waterpark! We’ve got a few slides, some buckets and other splash features that will keep you entertained all afternoon.
The 50-meter outdoor pool at Veterans Memorial Park features two two-story slides, graduated entry with water features for the little ones and adjacent bathhouse with concessions close by.

SplashDown Waterpark
SplashDown Waterpark is 13 acres of fun in the sun for kids of all ages with a tropical twister slide, two fast cannonball waterslides, two 4-story waterslides a 25-meter lap pool and a 770 ft. Lazy River. Toddlers will enjoy pint-sized slides, bubblers and fountains, along with making sand castles on Big Kahuna Beach! There are five concession areas, a souvenir shop and lockers available.

Waterworks Waterpark
Waterworks Waterpark at Andrew Leitch Park is not your everyday pool. There are two fast slides, jungle walks and has a zero-depth pool entry. Toddlers will enjoy a wading pool with slides and bubblers just the right size. There is a concessions area and lockers are available.

Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center
The Aquatics Center at Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center features a diving board, an outdoor sun deck, two 12-person hot tubs, two dry saunas (note: round spa has reopened). Our main 40-meter heated pool has eight 25-yard lanes available for lap swim and a shallow water area for *family/recreation swim and classes. Our heated therapeutic/leisure pool is zero-depth with gradual entry and a maximum depth of 3'8". There is also a slide and a mushroom water feature. Our professional on-site Lifeguard staff is certified at the highest level, through Ellis and Associates.

Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center
The Aquatics Center at Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center features a 25-yard heated indoor pool with gradual entry ramp, open swim and lap swim times available and a 16-person Whirlpool.
