Police Chief Newsham Participates in Virtual Townhall with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

(Prince William, VA) –The Prince William County Police Department is teaming up with the Prince William Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc (PWCAC-DST) to host a virtual town hallforum with Prince William County Police Chief Peter Newsham. On Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom, members of the community will have an opportunity to hear the plans of the Chief of the Prince William County Police Department and hear answers to their questions. 

Members of the public can discuss issues like police brutality, qualified immunity, excessive use of force, arrest procedures, resident’s compliance with police orders, trust, mitigation of violent crime, accountability, transparency, and effectiveness.
