The Prince William County Office of Elections is thrilled to announce its first-ever “I Voted” Sticker Design contest.

The office is seeking a way for voters to showcase pride in both the electoral process and the county identity. The chosen sticker design will be used to represent voters from across the county, both on Election Day and year-round on the PWC Office of Elections website.

The contest will run from Monday, Feb. 5 to Friday, March 15, 2024. Entrants can find all the details and submit their designs at pwcvotes.org/votingsticker.

The top three submissions will be awarded a monetary prize, with the winning design being adopted by the Office of Elections for use as the official “I Voted” sticker for the 2024 Presidential Election, as well as branding across the PWC Office of Elections website.

The contest is open to all Prince William County residents, regardless of voter registration status. Entries may be submitted by both individuals and groups, and multiple entries are encouraged. Children and students are specifically welcomed to participate, with an additional $500 awarded to the Prince William County grade school with the highest number of student entries.

Prince William County’s Director of Elections, Eric Olsen expressed his excitement in a statement during the Jan. 4, 2024, Electoral Board Meeting.

“There is no more important thing as a General Registrar … that I could do than providing a nice sticker for the after-voting process. … Nothing is more prideful for people than putting on that “I Voted” sticker to demonstrate their participating in their civic duty.”

All finalists and the winner will be announced and recognized at the July 2024 Electoral Board meeting.
