Prince William County reminds all residents and businesses that personal property and business tangible tax payments are due by Monday, Oct. 6, 2025. You can view and pay your bill online at www.tax.pwcgov.org. Prince William County offers multiple tax payment methods:
Online: Pay by electronic check (free) or credit card (service fee applies) at www.tax.pwcgov.org
By Phone: Call 888-272-9829 and use jurisdiction code 1036 (fee applies)
By Mail: Send payments to PO BOX 70519, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0519
In Person:
Both offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To help enhance customer service and increase accessibility, Taxpayer Services will also extend its hours until 6 p.m. Oct. 1-6, 2025 (Monday – Friday only). Additionally, Saturday hours will be offered on Oct. 4, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A 2.3% service fee will apply to in-person debit and credit card transactions made at both the DSB and Sudley Tax Administration locations. To avoid this fee, residents may choose alternative payment methods, such as:

Check
Certified funds
A 10% late payment penalty will be applied to any unpaid tax balance after Oct. 6, 2025. Interest will also accrue monthly at a rate of 10% per annum until the balance is paid in full.
