single news

Prince William County's real estate taxes for the first half of 2025 are due on July 15, 2025. If you haven’t received a tax bill for your property and think you should have, please reach out to the Taxpayer Services Office at (703) 792-6710 or via email at [email protected].

The Taxpayer Services office is open for in-person visits from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Meanwhile, other Tax Administration services are available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Be aware that a late payment penalty of 10% will be added to any unpaid tax balance if it's not settled by the due date. Additionally, interest at a rate of 10% per year will accumulate monthly until the balance is paid in full.

You can make payments electronically at tax.pwcgov.org or by phone at 1-888-272-9829. Remember, the jurisdiction code for Prince William County is 1036. Alternatively, you can send payments by mail to PO Box 70519, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0519, or visit the Taxpayer Services offices, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at either the Sudley North or Development Services Building.

If you receive a tax bill and your mortgage company is handling your property taxes, it’s essential to contact them promptly. Your mortgage company will inform you of the correct procedure for having them pay the county directly on your behalf.
