Special Operations

While collectively special operations situations are a small percentage of the overall incidents that the Department of Fire & Rescue responds to, these high-risk / low frequency situations demand special training, special equipment and special people. All of the personnel that respond to these incidents are also firefighters and paramedics who dedicate hundreds of additional hours in training to ensure they can respond to a wide variety of emergency situations in a safe and timely manner.
