Enjoy the Great Outdoors
Is fall yours or your child’s favorite season and you all love being outside in the cooler weather? Then register for one of our many nature/outdoor programs for children and adults.

Our Nature Night Life program for ages 6-12 will delight your young one. They will learn more about the animals that only venture out at night and call Veterans Memorial Park home. Participants will venture around the park just as it starts to get dark and try to spot some of the animals that we might not see during the day. During our exploration we will learn why these animals only come out at night and why it benefits them to do so. Sign them up to join us on Tuesday and Thursday, November 7 and 9, from 5 -7 pm.

Who doesn’t love Stargazing? Turn your eyes skyward and enjoy the spectacular night sky from the beautiful Neabsco Creek Boardwalk. Start the evening with a guided stroll along the boardwalk followed by stargazing and hot chocolate. This is a winter program you won’t want to miss! Meet at the Neabsco Regional Park pavilion. Program will take place on Sunday, November 12. All ages welcome. Register here. *Program may be canceled/rescheduled if there is inclement weather.
