Supervisor Kenny Boddye to host NextGen PWC: Young Voices Shaping Our Future on February 25
Occoquan District Supervisor Kenny Boddye invites high school and college-age Prince William County residents to join him and key members of county agencies at NextGen PWC: Young Voices Shaping Our Future, an interactive discussion centered on the next generation’s vision for Prince William. Throughout the event, county leaders will invite participants to share their thoughts on the county and vision for the future, and to brainstorm ideas and solutions together.
“Prince William County’s youth are often left out of conversations affecting our community, even though they stand to live with our decisions the longest,” said Boddye. “They deserve a seat at the table as the up-and-coming thought and community leaders they are. I look forward to hearing from young residents and engaging with them on the issues they care about the most. ”
Participants can also discover more about local programs, services, and volunteer opportunities available to them, connecting with representatives from County agencies and nonprofits such as:
- PWC Public Libraries
- PWC Parks & Recreation
- PWC Office of Community Safety
- OmniRide/PRTC
- MORE (Mid Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts)
