Touch a Truck is an interactive, hands-on event where kids of all ages can discover a variety of vehicles up close! From fire trucks and police cars to construction vehicles and more, children will have the chance to climb inside, honk the horns, and meet the heroes who operate these amazing machines. Bring your camera, this is a picture-perfect day! Food and ice cream available for purchase.

All ages | FREE | Ben Lomond Regional Park A family movie night in the park is a perfect chance to relax and enjoy a safe and special night under the stars. Come early and get a good seat! The movie will begin at sunset. Please bring your lawn chair or blankets for seating. A parent or guardian must attend with children under the age of 16. *Alcohol is not permitted at this event. Come join us for a project update on the planned improvements to Doves Landing Park and the Sinclair Mill site. The discussion will cover updates from the January 2025 meeting as well as draft 35% design plans.

Prince William County Parks & Recreation operates two aquatics & fitness centers offering a wide variety of programs and equipment to help you on your journey to health and wellness. We invite you to visit the centers online or in-person for a complete view and feel of the extensive program line-up offered from preschool and summer camps to personal training and group fitness classes.

Waterparks make any summer day a huge SPLASH! Outdoor Community Pools are always a cool way to spend a hot summer day. Indoor Aquatic Facilities offering swim lessons, lap swim and aquatic fitness classes. There are certification opportunities, training for swim teams and triathlon trainees.

Serves as caretakers of County-owned historic structures, interiors, archaeological resources, natural resources, historic landscapes, artifacts, and collections. We also help build community identity through telling the story of our County through programs and events. The Division’s goal is to show the connections between our history, our present, our future and our growth as a community.
