Thoroughfare Historic Park Master Plan Meeting
PWC Parks & Recreation invites you to attend a public meeting on the Thoroughfare Historic Park Master Plan. Join us to participate in interactive planning activities and share ideas for the park’s future. County staff and Land Collective representatives will be available to answer questions and gather feedback.

Community Resource Fair
Join us as Prince William Health District and Prince William Area Agency on Aging provide community members the opportunity to visit and learn from a variety of community partners focusing on addressing the needs of older adults identified in the Community Health Assessment.

Davis Ford Park Master Plan Hike
Join Prince William County Parks and Recreation for a site visit and guided hike at the future Davis Ford Park and share your input as we begin the master planning process. This site visit and optional one-mile hike will take participants to a historic homestead site and scenic natural overlook. Parks and Recreation staff will host interactive stations to share information and gather your feedback.

Prince William County’s Regional Parks and Community Centers are true hubs of community, offering diverse amenities like sports fields, trails, pavilions, pools, marinas, and many others along with recreation programming.

Aquatic & Fitness Centers
Prince William County Parks & Recreation operates two aquatics & fitness centers offering a wide variety of programs and equipment to help you on your journey to health and wellness. We invite you to visit the centers online or in-person for a complete view and feel of the extensive program line-up offered from preschool and summer camps to personal training and group fitness classes.

Pools & Waterparks
Waterparks make any summer day a huge SPLASH! Outdoor Community Pools are always a cool way to spend a hot summer day. Indoor Aquatic Facilities offering swim lessons, lap swim and aquatic fitness classes. There are certification opportunities, training for swim teams and triathlon trainees.

Office of Historic Preservation
Serves as caretakers of County-owned historic structures, interiors, archaeological resources, natural resources, historic landscapes, artifacts, and collections. We also help build community identity through telling the story of our County through programs and events. The Division’s goal is to show the connections between our history, our present, our future and our growth as a community.

Our staff operates a diverse portfolio of recreational facilities, services, and programs, hosting over 2 million visits annually and providing unique leisure experiences for residents of all ages, abilities, and recreational interests.
