Issues with graffiti can be reported in one of several ways in our new 311 system!

  • The Website
  • The Mobile App, PWC 311
  • Landline call to 703-792-4311
  • Cellular call to 311
  • The Chatbot, Will (look in the lower right-hand corner of the page.)
  • In person at our office

If graffiti appears on your property, please contact the Prince William County
on-emergency Police number at 703-792-6500.  Per Prince William County
Code 16-56, Graffiti Prevention and Removal is the responsibility of the property owner.

 

If possible please take a photo of the graffiti and then remove or cover over the graffiti as soon as possible. Prompt removal may reduce the likelihood of repeat vandalism.

You can cover or remove graffiti by the following methods:

Paint - re-paint the area Solvents - follow the manufacturer's instructions to remove Power-wash - to remove graffiti

 

  • * If you see graffiti on another's residence or business, report it.
  •  
  • * Remove graffiti with the permission of the property owner
  •  
  • * Work safely during graffiti removal
  •  
  • * If graffiti appears on public property, utility boxes or road signs, report it. We will work with the applicable agency to assist them with the graffiti removal efforts.
