Zoning Administration
The offices within the Department of Development Services will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 2 pm – 5 pm. We will also be closing the development counters (Zoning, Site Permits, Building Plan Intake, Building Permits and Records Center) during this same time period. Tickets will stop being issued at 12 pm for all counters except Zoning, Zoning tickets will stop being issued at 11 am. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may create. We will re-open our offices on Friday, Sept 26 at 8 am.
The Zoning Administration Division provides zoning determinations, zoning and proffer interpretations, processes home occupation certificates for family day homes, and verifications of non-conforming uses. Zoning Administration also administers the County zoning ordinance. In addition, Zoning Administration processes appeals and variance requests to the Board of Zoning Appeals and responds to zoning and proffer verification requests. The division is also responsible for proffer administration
