Volunteer Call for 2026 Blue Bell Festival

The 2026 Bluebell Festival will be held on Sunday, March 29th at Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management Area in Nokesville, VA. Each spring, hundreds of visitors come to celebrate the return of Virginia Bluebells with guided tours, outdoor activities, and a day immersed in nature. Volunteers are essential to creating a welcoming, smooth-running experience for everyone who attends.

We’re looking for community‑minded volunteers to help with the following roles:

• Parking Volunteer (AM 9:30–12:30 or PM 12:30–3) — Help visitors arrive safely by guiding cars to open spaces and keeping traffic flowing.
• Welcome Volunteer (PM 12:30–3) — Greet guests at festival entrances and offer friendly directions and information.
• PWCA Tabling Volunteer (PM 12:30–3) — Share PWCA’s mission, programs, and volunteer opportunities with visitors; assist with newsletter sign‑ups and donations.
• Tour Announcer (AM 10–12:30 or PM 12:30–3) — Keep guests informed by announcing tour start times, introducing guides, and helping groups gather.
• Roaming Volunteer (AM 10–12:30 or PM 12:30–3) — Support the whole team by delivering water/snacks, assisting volunteers, and helping with light site upkeep.
