Juvenile Justice Parenting Program

Description:
The Juvenile Justice Parenting Program helps parents and teenagers improve communication, build stronger relationships, and manage challenging behaviors. Parents and teens attend separate virtual classes (via Zoom) led by trained facilitators.

Parent Class Includes:
• Understanding challenging teen behaviors
• Communication and conflict‑resolution skills
• Anger management
• “Who owns the problem?”
• The difference between punishment and discipline

Teen Class Includes:
• Healthy communication strategies
• Anger and emotion management
• Expressing feelings appropriately
• Court‑related skill requirements (if applicable)

Format:
Parents: 8‑week virtual class
Teens: 7‑week virtual class
Meets once a week on Zoom
Separate classes for adults and teens
Certificate of completion provided

Registration Fee:
$60.00 (cash, exact amount, check, or money order)
• Seat is reserved once payment is received

Accessibility:
• Live captions available on Zoom
• Language interpretation available upon request
