Join us for "Play All Day VA" on Sunday, June 21. As part of VRPS' statewide initiative, Play All Day VA aims to provide opportunities for our community to play in PWC Parks for FREE!

Play All Day VA Programs

• Summer Hike at James S. Long Regional Park, 4603 James Madison Hwy, Haymarket, VA 20169 | 8:30-10am | Ages 18+
  Join us for a wonderful summer hike along the trails of James S. Long Regional Park. As we explore the park's trails, keep an eye and an ear out for the various flora and fauna we are bound to discover! Instruction provided by experienced staff.
   
• Family Summer Hike at Rollins Ford Park, 14500 Rollins Ford Rd, Nokesville, VA 20181, 10-11am | Ages 5+
  Join us for an enjoyable family summer hike at Rollins Ford Park. As we explore the park's paved trail, we will keep an eye and an ear out for the various flora and fauna that live there! Instruction provided by experienced staff. This program is designed for parents/guardians to participate alongside their child.
   
• Father's Day Fishing at Silver Lake Regional Park, 15800 Silver Lake Rd, Haymarket, VA 20169, 10am-noon | Ages 6+
  Are you looking for a great Father's Day activity and to have fun with your family? Join us at Silver Lake Regional Park to spend the morning fishing. Learn the basics of fishing such as casting, baiting and other fishing techniques that will get you to catch fish in no time! Join us on the water as we build kayaking skills and have some fun! Equipment is provided; however participants may bring their own lucky fishing pole. Instruction provided by experienced staff. Registration is required for both parent/guardian and child(ren).
   
• Kayak Around the Lake at Silver Lake Regional Park, 15800 Silver Lake Rd, Haymarket, VA 20169, 3-5pm | Ages 18+
  Learn the basics of kayaking such as paddle strokes and general water safety while exploring Silver Lake and enjoying a sunny summer afternoon. Join us on the water as we build kayaking skills and have some fun! Kayaks, paddles, and life vests are provided; however, participants may bring their own kayak. Instruction provided by experienced staff.
