Prince William 4-H Tree Planting Service Day
All Prince William 4-H'ers, family, friends and supporters are invited to participate!
Date: Saturday, April 18
Time: 9 AM – Noon
Location: Meadow Planting Project Location TBD
Ready to get your hands dirty for a good cause? Join Prince William 4‑H for an epic environmental service day with County Arborist Will Shoup! We’re planting 250 trees - including bottlebrush, apple trees, and northern red oaks - to help reforest our community.
Why you’ll love it:
- Dig in the dirt and make a real impact
- Learn pro tips on tree planting from an expert
- Celebrate Earth Day early with friends and nature vibes
This is your chance to give back, learn something cool, and have fun outdoors. Plus, if you’re part of a 4-H club or school group, you can even host your own planting day!
Interested in hosting? Contact Pam Hardin at [email protected] by January 23 to reserve seedlings for your group.
