Prince William County’s Area Agency on Aging, in partnership with the Prince William Chamber Foundation, invites residents to attend the 2025 Aging Gracefully Expo on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 8-11 a.m. in the Food Court area at Potomac Mills Mall (2700 Potomac Mills Circle, Woodbridge, VA 22192).
The Aging Gracefully Expo is designed to empower older adults and their caregivers by connecting them with a wide range of local businesses, nonprofits and organizations that provide direct services and support to older adults in the community. The event will offer resources across a range of sectors, including healthcare, housing, finance, travel and home services.
“Aging gracefully means living with purpose, energy and independence while embracing the changes that come with growing older,” said Josh Lee, Acting Director of the Area Agency on Aging. “Whether you're preparing for retirement, caring for an aging loved one or seeking community-based resources, the Aging Gracefully Expo offers something for everyone.”
Attendees will have an opportunity to explore a wide range of resources, including:
In addition to these resources, the Expo will feature interactive demonstrations, networking opportunities for caregivers and information on aging safely and independently.
“People who attend the expo will be able to meet local service providers and connect with others in the community,” Lee said. “The Expo is meant to demystify the unknowns of services and support in the community. It’s not just an event, it’s a celebration of what it means to age with strength, armed with knowledge and connections to support healthy, independent aging.”
The Area Agency on Aging has been partnering with the Prince William Chamber Foundation for several years with a shared mission of empowering independence, enhancing the quality of life and ensuring older adults can enjoy aging by offering a supportive network for them and their families through advocacy, education and coordination.
“The Aging Gracefully Expo is intended for anyone interested in learning how to live well as they age. It’s for older adults, caregivers, family members and professionals in aging services looking for resources to support their own aging journey or care for a loved one,” Lee said.
