The Prince William Board of County Supervisors recently commended Jim Good for saving a three-year-old child’s life.

Good was performing routine maintenance at a home on Orland Stone Drive in Bristow when a parent at the home unexpectedly brought him a child who was showing obvious signs of distress.

Good recognized that the child was choking and immediately administered appropriate lifesaving measures. Good’s expeditious and effective actions cleared the child’s completely blocked airway of two foreign objects preventing the child from breathing.

The board’s commendation showed that Good’s actions helped keep the county a safe and secure community.
