The Prince William County Procurement Office will host the second Annual Procurement Expo on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hylton Performing Arts Center. The expo provides a unique opportunity for vendors interested in doing business with the county to gain insights on contracting opportunities and the procurement needs of county agencies.
“The expo is an opportunity to attract a diverse range of vendors, which increases competition and allows the county to access a broader range of goods and services,” said Chief Procurement Officer Shana Terry. “Engaging with high-quality suppliers and innovative vendors can improve the efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness of county services.”
The expo will provide a platform for dialogue and collaboration between the county and vendors, fostering trust and long-term partnerships that will strengthen service delivery for county residents.
This year’s theme of “Strengthening Partnerships” will allow vendors to connect directly with department representatives to learn about upcoming contracting opportunities to build and strengthen relationships with procurement officials, other suppliers and potential partners, which can lead to future collaborations.
Approximately 20 county departments, along with procurement staff, will attend the expo. This event is open to anyone interested in doing business with the county. Whether you’re an established vendor or a small business just starting out, the expo provides a powerful platform to network with other companies, connect with county decision-makers and gain valuable insights into the county’s procurement process.
Vendors who visit exhibit tables at the expo will learn about goods and services that departments procure to support county operations and deliver services to the community; and by engaging with vendors, county staff can learn about new technologies and innovative solutions that can modernize service delivery and infrastructure.
“Departments will showcase projects and mission critical needs,” Terry said. “This year, we have expanded our expo to include additional local procurement entities - Prince William County Public Schools, Manassas City Public Schools, Prince William Water and Loudoun County Procurement, as well as business support partners comprised of various Chamber of Commerce organizations.”
Last year’s expo drew upwards of 300 vendors looking to do business with the county, demonstrating strong interest from businesses eager to engage with Prince William County government.
