COVID-19 Vaccine Information: Update on the Phases, Waitlist and Call Center

Keep yourself and your family safe during Lunar New Year. Follow public health guidelines: social distance, wash your hands, wear a mask and eye protection, avoid large crowds. Consider celebrating at home with your family this year.

All are reminded that this is not the time to get complacent. We need to continue to be vigilant. Remember the best defense is: wear your mask; wash your hands; social distance six feet or more; limit social gathering sizes to 10 people or less; and avoid large crowds.

We are currently in Phases 1a and 1b.

Phase 1a Priority: Those who did not get vaccinated in phase 1a and are considered front-line-health-care providers will be prioritized on the waitlist as vaccines become available.

Phase 1b Priority:  Ages 65+ years and older and those 16-64 with underlying health conditions: PWHD is currently vaccinating this group. Those who are 65+ years and older and who want to get the vaccine must first fill out the waitlist form http://bit.ly/PWHDwaitlist. If you already did this form, or pre-registered you do not need to do it again. You will be contacted by phone or email that you are on the waitlist, in the next few days. Please regularly check your spam or junk mail to make sure your notification did not go there.

Waitlist Registration Form: It is important to note that completing this form will add you to a waitlist for when additional vaccine appointments become available. It does not automatically schedule you for an appointment. Due to limited vaccine availability from the federal government, it will likely be days to weeks before you are contacted to schedule an available appointment. If the Health District receives additional vaccines, then this timeframe will change. http://bit.ly/PWHDwaitlist

Assistance – No E-mail: For those who do not have access to a computer, the internet, or email, they may contact the Prince William Health District Call Center at 703-872-7759 to be added to this waitlist by phone. Please wait on the English line until the operator can assist you and then state what language you need. The call center does not have the capability to take requests or make appointments, as call center agents are only able to enter information into this form. The call center hours are now 9:00am-4:30pm M-Sun. Translators are available to assist you with an operator.
