Cupid’s Arrow Lands in Manassas as Couples Celebrate Love at Circuit Court Clerk’s Annual Valentine’s Day Bash
MANASSAS, Va. — On February 14, 2026, twenty‑three hearts were united at Prince William County Circuit Court Clerk Jacqueline Smith’s 8th annual Valentine’s Day Bash at the Manassas Museum. The celebration has become one of the region’s most enchanting Valentine’s Day traditions. It’s an elegant, heartfelt, and affordable alternative to a traditional wedding, made possible by a community of friends, families, and local businesses.
Mae Merchant Hall was transformed into a romantic haven, where Cupid’s arrow seemed to linger. Couples walked the aisle to a whimsical floral arch, outlined by the sweeping Manassas cityscape glowing through the museum’s windows. A charming “kissing arch” invited newlyweds for photo opportunities, while soft décor, heart‑shaped touches, and thoughtful details created an atmosphere of simplicity, elegance, and romance.
Throughout the day, couples exchanged vows in intimate ceremonies tailored to honor their unique love stories. Many exchanged vows for the first time, shared personal promises, and some renewed their commitment after more than 40 years of marriage, all surrounded by loved ones.
The celebration reimagined the traditional civil ceremony, offering an affordable option without sacrificing sentiment or style. Every element of the experience was designed to celebrate the couples in their own special way. Couples were celebrated with gifts and goody bags from generous local businesses, including “wedding cookies” from Crumbl Cookies, and heart‑shaped treats from Dunkin’ Donuts. These small but meaningful touches reflected the romance of the event.
The Valentine’s Day Bash stood as a display of an inclusive, joyful celebration where every couple felt seen, supported, and celebrated.
The Circuit Court Clerk’s Office extends heartfelt appreciation to Manassas business partners whose contributions made the day even more memorable for the couples, including Mark Summerson Photography, Crumbl Cookies, Dunkin’ Donuts, Flower Gallery of Manassas, Flowers with Passion, Ashby Jewelers, Foster’s Grille, Kerbobble Toys, Zandra’s Taqueria, Benny Capolago’s Pizza, Honey & Ivy Gluten Free, Manassas Olive Oil Company, Fillagreen, Aroma Wine Tasting Room, Tru by Hilton, Popcorn Monkey, The Bone Barbeque, and Vigario Management.
