Native American Heritage Month 2024
Thursday, 31 Oct 2024

November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to honor the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Native communities across the country. In Prince William County, residents are encouraged to learn about the tribes and cultures that have shaped local history. The Historic Prince William website offers community members a chance to gain insight into the traditions and lives of Indigenous tribes in the area. For an in-person experience, consider attending the Potomac People: Indigenous Tribes of Eastern Prince William event hosted by the Parks and Rec Department. This month, we celebrate Indigenous cultural heritage and encourage meaningful engagement with their stories and contributions.
