Park Profile: Lake Ridge Park & Marina

Golfing, and boating and fishing, oh my!

If you’re looking for a place the whole family can enjoy then you’ll want to check out the beautiful Lake Ridge Park & Marina and its many amenities.

Located directly on the Occoquan Reservoir in the Lake Ridge community, this 74-acre park maintains unencumbered public access to the Occoquan Water Trail with breathtaking views. The Lake Ridge Park Marina offers three-season boat rentals, with a universal access boat launch and dock access. Canoes, pedal boats, kayaks, SUP and jon boats are available for rent. For land recreation, park visitors will enjoy playground areas, horseshoe pits and nature trails. The park also has picnic tables, grills and pavilions that you can rent.

Want to play a round of golf? Lake Ridge offers a beautiful 9 hole, par 3 challenge golf course in a relaxing, wooded park setting. The course is great for beginners and experienced golfers looking for a shorter, demanding game. There’s also a disc golf course at Lake Ridge. Eighteen baskets are scattered around the edges and within the trees of the walking only 9 hole golf course with long and short disc golf loops providing a unique challenge among the DC metro disc golf courses.

Know Before You Go

• Boating/Fishing: You can either rent a boat or bring your own (max. 9.9hp) to launch from the boat ramp. Enjoy fishing from your boat or the bank. Please remember that a fishing license is required. All boat rentals include PFDs (personal floatation device) and other required safety equipment. The minimum age to rent all boat types is 16, with the exception of pedal boat rentals, you must be at least 14. Bait is available for purchase at the marina.
