County News & FeaturesPrince William County offers resources to assist members of the public in staying cool when temperatures reach 95 degrees or higher and heat indices reach near 100 degrees. Today and tomorrow, July 12 and 13, due to the forecasted high temperature of 95 degrees today and 96 degrees tomorrow with heat index values anticipated to be as high as 105 degrees both days, any member of the public who needs to seek shelter from the heat can visit a Prince William County library. Main libraries have hours of operation today and tomorrow from 10:00 a.m – 8 p.m, while smaller neighborhood libraries have hours of operation from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. For locations and hours, please visit https://www.pwcva.gov/department/library/branch-locations-hours.
