Prince William County Parks & Recreation Voted “Best of” in 11 Categories by InsideNoVa Readers

Prince William County Parks & Recreation is proud to announce that it has been voted "Best Of" in 11 categories in InsideNoVa’s 2026 Best of Prince William contest. The winners were chosen by nearly 19,000 individual voters who went online in April to support their favorite businesses, people and organizations in Prince William County. They cast a total of more than 134,000 votes for the 3,500-plus nominees.

Prince William County Parks won in the following categories:  

* Best Summer Camp Programs: PWC Parks & Recreation Summer Camps

* Best Tourist Attraction: Neabsco Creek Boardwalk

* Best Place for Family Fun: SplashDown Waterpark

* Best Swimming Pool: Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center

* Best Farmers Market: Dale City Farmers Market

* Best Plant Center: Dale City Farmers Market

* Best Community Center: Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center

* Best Performing Arts Group: Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center

Individual Honors

* Best Dance Instructor/Choreographer: Michelle Geoghegan

* Best Yoga/Pilates Instructor: Carmen Fermin

* Best Administrative Assistant: Tarita Royal
