
Prince William County's real estate taxes for the second half of 2025 are due on Dec. 5, 2025. If you haven’t received a tax bill for your property and think you should have, please reach out to the Taxpayer Services Office at (703) 792-6710 or via email at [email protected].
The Taxpayer Services office is open for in-person visits from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Prince William County offers multiple tax payment methods:
Online: Pay by electronic check (free) or credit card (service fee applies) at www.tax.pwcgov.org
By Phone: Call 888-272-9829 and use jurisdiction code 1036 (fee applies)
By Mail: Send payments to PO BOX 70519, Philadelphia, PA 19176-0519

If you receive a tax bill and your mortgage company is handling your property taxes, it’s essential to contact them promptly. Your mortgage company will inform you of the correct procedure for having them pay the county directly on your behalf.
Be aware that a late payment penalty of 10% will be added to any unpaid tax balance if it's not settled by the due date. Additionally, interest at a rate of 10% per year will accumulate monthly until the balance is paid in full.
