The Prince William County Department of Transportation, or PWCDOT, will host three Traffic Safety Public Meetings to share information about proposed traffic calming measures.

The meetings are open to all members of the public, particularly those who live on or regularly travel along Cordell Avenue and Hoffman Drive in the Neabsco District, and Lightner Road in the Gainesville District. Members of PWCDOT’s Traffic Safety and Engineering Team will attend each meeting to present proposed improvements, gather feedback and answer questions.

Hoffman Drive

Following the meetings, PWCDOT will work with the community to collect petitions and gauge interest in the proposed traffic-calming devices. Proposals will then move through the formal approval process, which includes review by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and action by the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, before implementation.
