Your Guide to Spring Break Fun with Prince William County Parks

Keep your kids active, engaged, and having fun this spring break with our wide range of camps and activities. Whether they’re interested in trying archery, hitting the skate park, building in Minecraft, or playing volleyball, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Looking for a full-day option? Veterans Park Spring Break Camp still has spots open. All programs run during the week of March 30–April 3.
Volleyball Skills Camp – Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center
This 3-day spring break volleyball camp (3/30-4/1, 5-7 pm) is designed to help kids ages 8-15 develop their skills in serving, offensive and defensive formations, bumping, spiking, and digging. We will also focus on the most important part that will take you to the next level—cardio and core workouts! Click here to register.
Archery Camp – Veterans Memorial Park
In this camp, your child can learn the safe and effective way to handle and shoot recurve and compound bows, while understanding the differences between them in archery. Instruction is provided by USA Archery certified instructors. All equipment is provided. Dress appropriately for the weather. Camp is designed for ages 8-15 and runs Monday, 3/3 – Wednesday, 4/1, 1:30-3:30 pm. *Saturday will be used as the make-up day in the event of inclement weather. Click here to register.
Let’s Go Skate Camp – Veterans Memorial Park
Let's Go Skate is an exciting, action-packed program designed for kids and teens eager to learn or improve their skateboarding skills. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced skater, the camp offers a supportive and fun environment to master tricks, enhance balance, and gain confidence on the board. Led by experienced instructors, participants will enjoy daily skate sessions, safety training, personalized instruction, and creative skatepark challenges. Beyond skating, the camp fosters teamwork, discipline, and a love for the sport, making it a perfect adventure for aspiring skaters. Skateboards, safety pads, and helmets are required for this program. Camp held Mon-Thursday, 3/3-4/2, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. For ages 8-15. Register today.
Animation Using Minecraft Camp – Veterans Memorial Park
Brought to you by Cyberteck Academy. In this class students will be introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and environments. Kids will expand their observation skills and imagination by studying motion and learning how to translate it into realistic animation. Students will learn how animators work by creating one or more short animation projects while applying basic acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create. Does your child aspire to become an animator for games or movies? Sign up for this class today! Ages 6-9 will focus on fundamentals to create a short simple animation. Ages 10-14 will learn about more advanced features to create greater realism in projects with a larger scope. No prior experience required for either group. Register here. Veterans Park Spring Break Camp
Your child can spring into fun during their week off from school! From arts and crafts and outdoor games to science experiments and themed adventures, each day is packed with fun and discovery. Kids will make new friends, try something different, and enjoy nonstop excitement all week long. Choose the half-day option (9-1 pm or 1-5 pm) that fits your schedule, or double the fun by registering for both sessions so your kids can enjoy a full day of excitement! Spring Break Camp in a Box
Give your child a fun and exciting camp experience from the comfort and convenience of your own home. Camp in a Box comes packed with fun activities, supplies, and instructions to keep your child entertained for a few hours each day. Boxes come with enough materials for two children ($25) or four children ($40), and instructions will have physical and cognitive modifications for each activity.
