The Office of Communications and Engagement serves Prince William County government by working with the Board of County Supervisors, executive management and departments to identify and implement appropriate strategies for creating and disseminating effective messages, promoting Prince William County's identity and fostering a clear sense of community.
This office is responsible for cable television broadcast, emergency communications, employee communications and public information. These tasks provide the staff with the means to provide County government information to employees, citizens and the media. The success of the Office of Communications is measured by service levels published annually in the County's Fiscal Plan (budget).
The office is housed in the Office of Executive Management. The Director of Communications answers directly to the County Executive.
