DIRECTOR'S BIO

Director Kaytie Carroll brings more than 30 years of dedicated service and leadership to Prince William County’s Department of Public Safety Communications, where she has served since 1992 in progressively responsible roles supporting the county’s 911 operations, emergency response coordination and communications technology. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director of Administration, leading initiatives that modernized operations and improved efficiency. Among her many contributions, Carroll implemented a background investigation software system to streamline applicant processing, established formal training programs and helped position Prince William County Public Safety Communications as the first accredited communications center in Virginia. Carroll holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from George Mason University.
