Join Arts for the Aging Teaching Artists Nancy Havlik and Miles Spicer for Blues Guitar and Dance. This interactive live workshop features music and movement for all audiences and abilities. Musician Miles Spicer introduces popular blues composers and explores their history and music. Nancy Havlik, a dancer and choreographer, guides participants through collaborative dances inspired by the music. This workshop is suitable for older adults and caregivers of all mobilities. Dances may be performed seated or standing, and singing along is highly encouraged! The sessions include a dance and vocal warm-up and a final gathering together and sharing moment.
