Beat the Heat: Cool Off at Our Pools and Waterparks!

The typical July summer weather has arrived, and can you say HOT? Lucky for you Prince William County Parks and Recreation offers four outdoor pools and two waterparks to help you cool off while having some fun in the sun. Check out all the details below.

Birchdale Pool
Birchdale is a great neighborhood pool located in Dale City featuring a full-service concessions area, a diving board, and a gated baby pool for our small swimmers. The pool is a local family-favorite! (Please note Birchdale pool is closed every Wednesday).

Graham Park Pool
Graham Park pool located in Triangle is a charming outdoor pool featuring zero depth entry, water spray and dumping water bucket features. It's a perfect local pool for a fun summer day.

Hammil Mill Pool
Fun water features and various small water slides can keep little ones entertained for hours, while parents can appreciate the sun, or the shade, in any of our numerous lounge chairs at Hammil Mill pool in Woodbridge. (Please note Hammil Mill pool is closed every Thursday).

Veterans Park Pool
Veterans Park Pool is a great option for anyone wanting the taste of a waterpark! The 50-meter outdoor pool at Veterans Memorial Park features two 2-story slides, graduated entry with water features for the little ones and adjacent bathhouse with concessions close by.

SplashDown Waterpark
SplashDown Waterpark has 13 acres of fun in the sun for kids of all ages with a tropical twister slide, two fast cannonball waterslides, two 4-story waterslides a 25-meter lap pool and a 770 ft. Lazy River. Toddlers will enjoy pint-sized slides, bubblers and fountains, along with making sandcastles on Big Kahuna Beach! There are five concession areas, a souvenir shop and lockers available.

Waterworks Waterpark
Waterworks Waterpark at Andrew Leitch Park is not your everyday pool. There are two fast slides, jungle walks and has a zero-depth pool entry. Toddlers will enjoy a wading pool with slides and bubblers just the right size or the splash pad. There is a concessions area, and lockers are available.

Please remember that proper swim attire is required in all pools. The intent of enforcing a swim attire policy is to maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment for our patrons. Clothing, other than swimwear, can create problems with water clarity, disinfectant systems, and filtration. Prince William County Parks and Recreation staff have the right to deny anyone use of pools for non-approved swimwear.
