Neabsco/Potomac Commuter Parking Garage

​Prince William County Department of Transportation (PWC DOT), in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), proposes the construction of a commuter parking garage with a capacity of 1,400 automobiles, along with associated bus transfer and "kiss-and-ride" facilities (transit center), within an undeveloped property bordered by Opitz Boulevard (Route 642) to the north, River Rock Way to the west, and Potomac Center Boulevard and Bridge View Drive to the east and southeast, respectively.

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and 23 CFR 771, a Categorical Exclusion (CE) has been prepared in cooperation with the FHWA for the project. In compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act, Section 106 and 36 CFR Part 800, information concerning the potential effects of the proposed project on properties listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places is also provided in the environmental document.
