FFM CareerEX Experience

• Engage with County leaders to discuss governance, civic responsibility, and the legislative process
• Tour County facilities - like the Emergency Response Center - and observe daily operations, service delivery, and decision-making across multiple County agencies
• Build career readiness skills through hands-on training and collaborative team-building activities

FFM CareerEX Completion

• We celebrate your accomplishment in a formal completion ceremony
• Interns receive a certificate of completion documenting 50 hours of work experience

Summer 2026 Cohort Info

• June 22 - July 2, 2026
• 9AM - 4PM
• Application Deadline: May 15th, 2026
• Main meeting location - 1 County Complex Ct, Woodbridge, VA 22192 (please see application for other locations)
• Participants must have transportation
• Open to rising high school juniors, seniors & college or professional/trade school students ages 16-21 who reside in Prince William County
• Interns who are under 18 must submit the Applicant Acknowledgment & Permission Form
