WHAT IS THE RESTITUTION PROGRAM?

- A service for victims and offenders of juvenile crime
- Provides supportive assistance to claim and obtain restitution
- Establishment of fair restitution orders
VICTIM WITNESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY OFFICE
- Assistance with the court process, available services and rights as victims
- Coordinates with victims, offenders and the Court to determine restitution amounts
- For questions contact the Commonwealth's Attorney Office
- Those referred by the Court complete and submit a Restitution Claim Form
OFFENDER RESTITUTION PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
- Information on Paying Restitution at Court and Mailing Court Payments
- Payments in person at the J&DR Court Clerks Office, open Monday through Friday, except holidays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the first floor of the Courthouse (directions).
- If you mail a payment and want a receipt, include a self-addressed stamped envelope and a note requesting a receipt.
- Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund (CICF)
- No reimbursement for property losses
- Subject to maximum reimbursement amounts
- Assistance with claim filing
