The Juneteenth & Me Festival is a vibrant community celebration honoring freedom, culture, and unity in Prince William County. Hosted by the HUES Employee Resource Group, coordinated by the Office of Equity & Inclusion, and supported by Parks & Recreation, this event brings together residents, families, businesses, and creatives for a day of connection, reflection, and joy.
Join us on June 19, 2026, at Pfitzner Stadium, 7 County Complex Ct, Woodbridge, VA, as we celebrate this year’s theme Black Renaissance: Leading the Path Forward. Through live performances, local vendors, art, and youth engagement, the festival highlights a powerful era of creativity, leadership, and cultural expression while honoring the legacy of the past while uplifting the voices, talent, and vision shaping the future.

A Signature Community Celebration
Join an annual celebration that brings together 10,000+ attendees and 100+ vendors in a day dedicated to culture, connection, and community.
Live Music and Main Stage Performances
Enjoy a full day of live entertainment hosted by Comedian Doug Scott and WPGC, featuring DJ Cash and DJ Jiggaman, along with a full lineup of local and regional performers.
Highlights include cultural performances, dance groups, live bands, DJ sets, and a headlining performance by E.U. Band. The day closes with a sensory-friendly LED light show.
Food, Vendors, and Community Resources
Explore a wide variety of food trucks, local vendors, and community organizations.
Attendees can enjoy food, shop local businesses, and connect with Prince William County departments and nonprofit partners offering information and services.
Harlem Sparks Zone (Children’s Area)
A dedicated space for children inspired by the Harlem Renaissance.
Activities include face painting, interactive music in the Little Jazz Lounge, collaborative art, and a dress-up fashion experience designed for creativity and play.
“Our Front Porch” Experience
A relaxed community space inspired by traditional front porch gatherings.
Enjoy casual games like ladder toss and hacky sack, unwind with neighbors, and experience a space designed for connection and conversation.

The Juneteenth & Me Festival presents The Black Renaissance Experience: The Chapters, a full-day cultural journey unfolding across the Greenwood Pavilion Main Stage from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The program is designed as a continuous narrative of heritage, creativity, empowerment, and celebration, blending live music, spoken word, community storytelling, and high-energy performances.
Chapter I – Heritage & Honor (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
The day begins with a powerful Grand Processional featuring community leaders, cultural organizations, drum ensembles, and choir performances, culminating in the stirring “Lift Every Voice.” The opening ceremony includes remarks from County leadership and festival co-chairs, followed by performances from Kingdom Music Citizens and Heritage Village, setting a tone of reverence, unity, and collective pride.Chapter II – The Marketplace Awakens (2:00 PM – 2:40 PM)
This chapter highlights economic empowerment and community enterprise, featuring financial literacy activations, local partners, and interactive showcases. The stage comes alive with vendor spotlights and engagement moments designed to connect culture with opportunity, including performances and DJ activations that keep the energy moving.Chapter III – Cultural Excellence (2:45 PM – 3:30 PM)
Rising talent takes center stage with a fast-paced lineup of poets, dancers, and musical artists. This segment celebrates emerging voices and creative expression, featuring dynamic performances that reflect the depth and diversity of the region’s artistic community.Chapter IV – Power & Pride (3:30 PM – 7:30 PM)
The afternoon transitions into a high-energy celebration of sound and movement. DJ sets spanning new school and old school eras drive the crowd experience, followed by live performances from regional favorites, spoken word, and collaborative stage moments that honor cultural legacy while elevating contemporary Black artistry.Chapter V – Sunset Renaissance (7:45 PM – 9:00 PM)
The festival culminates in a headline Go-Go experience featuring E.U. Band with Sugar Bear, bringing the day to a powerful close rooted in the DMV’s signature sound. A light show finale marks the end of the journey, honoring the community, the culture, and the legacy of the Black Renaissance.Throughout the day, the Community Stage and People’s Porch activate the festival grounds with storytelling, youth performances, civic engagement conversations, author spotlights, fashion, and financial empowerment sessions. These spaces ensure continuous programming from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, centering voice, legacy, and community connection.
