Boating
Spending the day on the water is one of life’s great pleasures. Whether you are planning a fun day with the kids meandering along in our paddleboats, plotting your strategy to land that elusive largemouth bass or enjoying the serenity of a quiet afternoon’s paddle where only a kayak can take you, we have just what you’re looking for.

Fishing
There are three locations within the parks system just right for a day of fishing with Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Crappie and Bluegill in abundance. Remember – the Commonwealth of Virginia requires you obtain a Sportsman’s License if you are 16 years and older. For more information, contact Virginia’s Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.
