Poppies for Patriots Memorial Day Ceremony
Join Prince William County for our Poppies for Patriots Memorial Day Ceremony to honor and remember those who gave their lives in military service.
Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30 p.m. on the Sean T. Connaughton Plaza at the county government complex.
Children are invited to take part in a special coloring activity, offering a meaningful way for our youngest attendees to reflect on remembrance and honor.
Following the ceremony, participants will be invited to write the name of a loved one or someone they know who died in combat, or just a message of support, on a red paper poppy. The poppies will then be displayed on a "poppy wall."
“Poppies for Patriots” is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend and take a moment to honor and reflect on the lives lost in service to our country.
