Development Services Building Development Division is leveraging virtual scheduling to adapt to the changing needs of customers, offering a more efficient, convenient and cost-effective experience.
With the recent launch of a Virtual Appointment Scheduling System, customers can now book time with county experts for commercial project support, at a time that works best for them.
“The impact on the commercial real estate and building industry is wide reaching, providing access to a broader customer base, including those who may not be local,” said Mandi Spina, Director, Department of Development Services.
Online Early Assistance for Commercial Real Estate Projects is for customers seeking property exploration research and/or assistance with identified properties for specific commercial development projects.

The Online Early Assistance helps customers by simplifying complexities in commercial projects, by establishing an understanding of construction regulations, that can help avoid costly errors and remove uncertainty, all explained by a team of certified professionals with decades of experience.
All virtual appointments must be booked in advance. Virtual appointment times available are: 9:00 – 9:50 am; 10:00 – 10:50 am; 11:00 – 11:50 am; 1:00 – 1:50 pm; 2:00 – 2:50 pm; and 3:00 – 3:50 pm, with a maximum of 50 minutes per booking, every Tuesday and Thursday. It is important to remember that Development Services Building Development Division staff representatives primarily enforce state and local code regulations and provide information. Customers will also need to engage with other professionals, such as real estate agents.
