    Executive Development Program

    This is a 12-month, 300 credit hour program is built around the challenges facing Washington area jurisdictions. The IRE program is targeted to department heads, division chiefs and mid-to senior level managers. Upon graduation, participants receive a certificate from the George Washington University and are designated as Certified Public Managers.

    Training for PWC Notaries

    Employees who serve as a Notary Public on behalf of the County are required to complete training on the Handbook of Notaries Public for each term of their commission. This training is in the form of a live instructor-led webinar. Employees can sign up via Prince William County University.

    Prince William County Toastmasters Club

    District 29 | Division G | Area 72 | Club 1973 We provide a friendly and supportive environment for Prince William County employees to practice and improve their communication and leadership skills.

    George Mason University Master of Public Administration

    Prince William County Government provides two scholarships to employees. The GMU MPA Scholarship is open to all full-time County employees who have completed their initial 12-month probationary period prior to the application deadline and have received a meets or exceeds rating on their most​ recent performance review. The application process is facilitated by the County.
