Internet Access & Affordability

Prince William County through its Technology Inclusion Initiative is working hard to make sure that every household in the County has access to affordable highspeed Internet.

Do You Need High Speed Internet Service at Home?

Prince William County is asking residents to complete a brief survey to confirm whether or not highspeed Internet service is currently available to your home. The County has partnered with All Points Broadband to deploy fiber-to-the-home broadband in Prince William locations that are not served by high quality Internet today.  The survey is available until December 31, 2021. By completing it, you’ll help Prince William County and All Points collect accurate information about service areas and gaps that will enable us to better serve you.

Do You Need Help Paying for Internet Service?

The Emergency Broadband Benefit is a temporary Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program to help households struggling to afford internet service during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Through the Emergency Broadband Benefit, eligible households may receive a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer or tablet from participating providers, if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 towards the purchase price.
