Town Residents – Personal Property

Residents of the four incorporated towns within Prince William County—Dumfries, Haymarket, Occoquan, and Quantico—follow the same personal property tax requirements as all other County residents.

Each town has its own requirements for vehicle decals.

Town Residents – Real Estate Taxes

Town residents are subject to County real estate taxes.
In addition, each town levies its own separate real estate tax.

Town real estate tax bills are prepared and mailed by the towns.
For questions about town real estate taxes, contact your town’s Treasurer or Clerk.

City Residents

Residents of the City of Manassas and City of Manassas Park are not liable for Prince William County taxes.

City residents should contact their city offices for information on vehicle decals and taxes.
