Mail Voting is available in Prince William County. Voting by Mail is ideal for residents who may be temporarily out of town during the election, individuals with limited mobility, disability, or illness, and anyone who would just like the convenience of voting from home.

Benefits of voting by mail include:

  • Vote on your own time
  • Avoid traveling to and waiting at your polling place

Apply to receive a mail ballot:

  • Online application through the Virginia Department of Elections with state-issued identification.
  • Download and print the application to mail, email, fax or drop off to the PWC Office of Elections.
  • Pick up an application at the Prince William Office of Elections at 9250 Lee Ave. in Manassas or at any Prince William County library.

On the application, you can indicate if you would like a ballot for just this election or check the box to automatically receive a mailed ballot for every election.

Completed applications can be mailed, emailed, or faxed back to the Prince William County Office of Elections.

The last day to request that a ballot be mailed to you is Friday, October 27, 2023 AT 5:00 PM.

How to Return Your Ballot:

Return your voted ballot by having it postmarked no later than Tuesday, Nov. 7and mailing it back to the Office of Elections, or personally placing it in any Prince William County Dropbox during Early Voting or on Election Day. If dropping your ballot off in a Dropbox, it MUST be received by 7pm on Nov. 7, 2023.
