“We want voting to be accessible and convenient for everyone,” said Eric Olsen, Director of the Prince William County Office of Elections. “Whether you choose to vote early in person, by mail or on Election Day, our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible.”

The deadline to register to vote in this year’s General Election is Friday, Oct. 24 — 10 days before the election. Voters may register online or in person at the Office of Elections. Voters opting to vote by mail must request a ballot by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24. Saturday, Oct. 25, marks the start of Virginia’s Same Day Registration period, which allows eligible voters to register and vote at their polling place through Election Day. Voters using this option will cast a provisional ballot, which will be counted once the Office of Elections confirms their information.

Voting on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2025, is from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at assigned voting precincts only.

In-person voters must present  an acceptable form of ID.

Curbside voting is available for seniors and voters with disabilities at each location in designated parking spaces, both during early voting and on election day. Drive-thru voting is not available. Secure droboxes will also be available at all voting sites during voting hours.

Contests on the ballot include races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, House of Delegates, Occoquan Town Council (town residents only), and Gainesville District Supervisor (district residents only).

This year, voters can also look for new “I Voted” stickers, including a special edition Halloween sticker leading up to the final week of October.
