Department of Fire and Rescue

On Friday, April 3^rd, fire and rescue units responded to a structure fire located in the 2200 Block of Montgomery Avenue in Woodbridge.  A joint investigation, conducted by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office and the County Police Department, classified the fire as arson. A suspect was developed and identified as Joseph S. Crespin.  Mr. Crespin was arrested and subsequently charged.

 

Arrested on April 3^rd:

 

Joseph S. CRESPIN, 28, of 2227 Montgomery Avenue in Woodbridge, Virginia.

 

Charged with: 

•       §18.2-77 – Arson to an occupied dwelling  

•       §18.2-137 – Burning or destruction of personal property valued >$1,000.00
