Department of Fire and Rescue

The Logistics Division is under the Systems Support Section. Our mission is to provide service to the members of Prince William Fire and Rescue, the Fire and Rescue Association and Prince William County. The services we provide include:

• Uniform Issue
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Issue
• Equipment and Supply Issue
• Radio Support
• Telecommunications (cell phones and Blackberries)
• Courier Service
• Support Operations on major incidents (Hurricane Katrina, 9/11)
• Support large scale events where fire and rescue services are provided (President Obama's visit, 150th Anniversary Reenactment of the Battle of Manassas/Bull Run)
• Breathing Apparatus Services (Fit testing, maintenance and repair of Self Containing Breathing Apparatus
• Warehouse Storage
• Receiving/ Distribution

Currently, there are four members that staff Logistics and four that staff Breathing Apparatus Services. Logistics operates within three buildings of the Kao Business Complex located at 9027 Euclid Avenue in Manassas. We are staffed between the hours of 7am and 5pm Monday through Friday and can be recalled as dictated.
