Housing Choice Voucher Participants
• November and December Rent Subsidy Payments: Although HUD remains closed during the federal government shutdown, obligated Hap payments for November and December are expected to continue as usual.
• Future months: Funding beyond December depends on congressional action, Housing will notify participants immediately if there are changes.
• Tenant portion: Participants must continue paying their portion of rent to landlords as usual.
• Program status: No changes at this time to vouchers or participation in the program.
