Prince William County Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) Updates

Community Services is so grateful to  our many funders:  Congressional, State (DBHDS and General Assembly), Regional,  Potomac Health Foundation and Prince William County BOCS who are making this possible for our community. 

 

Prince William County Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) Open House (May 11, 2023)

 

  • On Thursday, May 11, 2023, the Board of County Supervisors and Connections Health Solutions, the county’s contractor which will be operating the CRC, held a Community Dedication Ceremony for the CRC.  Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin attended the ceremony.  Other local and state officials and community leaders also attended.
  • Lisa Madron, the Executive Director of Community Services in Prince William County, welcomed the audience to this event of celebrating the opening of the Crisis Receiving Center (CRC).

  • A contract will be awarded by the Board of County Supervisors later in 2023 to a general contractor.  Construction is expected to take approximately 18 months.
